Save the Date 2025: Georgian Wine in the UK

UK wine lovers always have a lot on their plates (and in their glasses). Trade tastings, direct-to-consumer events, upscale wine dinners, master classes and casual wine quizzes – there is always something to pick from if one loves wine and wants to know more about it.

We at Georgian Wine UK want everyone to have Georgia on their minds year-round, so please mark your calendars for the following events where Georgian wines are going to be presented.

The list is going to be updated, so stay tuned and check our Events Page for more details.

  2. May 19-21 — London Wine Fair — the UK’s biggest drinks trade event. 16 Georgian Wineries will be pouring their wines on the National Pavilion, where Sarah Abbott MW will host a masterclass daily.

  2. September 15 (London) & 17 (Manchester) — SITT (Specialist Importers’ Trade Tasting) — come discover 24 Georgian wines from a range of specialist trade importers. Deepen your knowledge at a masterclass with Sarah Abbott MW.

A Georgian wine tasting is always an engaging, authentic experience. The Georgian booth at any wine fair is a place of discovery and wonder. If you haven’t tried Georgian wine yet, seek out local producers at the tastings and explore the variety of styles.

There are crisp white wines for people of a classic taste, and modern amber wines for more adventurous wine lovers. Don’t miss a chance to taste Saperavi—Georgia’s flagship red— that can be an appealing, fruity rosé perfect for pool parties, as well as powerful full-bodied red for fireside story time.

OCTOBER

We are looking forward to sharing the information about Georgian wine tastings and events for public visitors, so if you are going to host one, don’t hesitate to share it with our team in advance via social media!
