This dynamic family winery is a success story of the new wave of Georgian wine. Dimitri Dugladze bought the former Soviet winery in Kakheti in 2004 and set about transforming it, introducing the latest technology while honouring Georgia’s time-honoured qvevri winemaking. A passionate advocate for Georgian wine culture and traditions, in just 20 years he created one of the most important and respected producers of Georgia whose  award-winning wines are exported to more than 20 countries, and listed in top UK restaurants. Dimitri, his brother and their children Dimitri and Mariam lead the family business today and continue to celebrate the culture and joy of Georgian wine. They’re delighted to be part of the Dartington Festival, and to be bringing some Georgian spirit to Devon! Expect lively whites, smooth red, and authentic amber wines made in Qvevri.
